چکیده

The Republic of Indonesia's Fisheries Management Area (Wilayah Pengelolaan Perikanan Negara Republik Indonesia) marine waters is an area with high capture fisheries potential, reaching 20% the national fish potential. Fishing often hampered by lack information related to Potential Zones, resulting in reduced efficiency. solution offered utilize geographic systems (GIS) or remote sensing aqua MODIS satellite images chlorophyll-a and sea surface temperature as data for mapping potential fishing zones. objectives this research are understand operation purse seines, analyze influence on seine catches, determine level suitability areas maps To answer objective, non-experimental based applied was conducted a case study approach, survey method correlation approach effect variables catches. tools used hardware, namely laptops computers software needed SEADAS, SAGA, QGIS, Ms. Excel SPSS. Data distribution from Aqua 1x1 kilometer resolution downloaded page https://oceancolor.gsfc.nasa.gov/.
As results statistical testing, there simultaneously partially catch giving 73.6%. With concentration KM area. conformity zones trips December 2020 April 2021 reached percentage 55.93% total 209,360 Kg, indicating selection conventional skippers XXX compared forecast using imagery technology can be categorized good even though it only relies experience about other vessels.

Investigation of biomass and catch per unite area changes of demersal resources based on swept area method in the northern waters of Oman Sea (Sistan and Baluchestan Province)

For more than two decades, assessment and monitoring of Oman Sea demersal resources has been carried out using swept area method. The study area starts from western water of Iran to border of Iran and Pakistan in the east of Oman Sea and total study area were divided into 5 sub-areas M to Q in different depth layers of 10-20, 20-30, 30-50 and 50 -100 meters. In general, the average amount of bi...

Tropical cyclone rainfall area controlled by relative sea surface temperature

Tropical cyclone rainfall rates have been projected to increase in a warmer climate. The area coverage of tropical cyclones influences their impact on human lives, yet little is known about how tropical cyclone rainfall area will change in the future. Here, using satellite data and global atmospheric model simulations, we show that tropical cyclone rainfall area is controlled primarily by its e...

analysis of sea surface current in sea surface temperature images

oceanographic images obtained from environmental satellites by a wide range of sensors allow characterizing natural phenomena through different physical measurements. for instance sea surface temperature (sst) images, altimetry data and ocean color data can be used for characterizing currents and vortex structures in the ocean. the purpose of this thesis is to derive a relatively complete frame...

Observed variations in convective precipitation fraction and stratiform area with sea surface temperature

[1] This paper focuses on the relation between local sea surface temperature (SST) and convective precipitation fraction and stratiform rainfall area from radar observations of precipitation, using data from the Kwajalein atoll ground-based radar as well as the precipitation radar on board the TRMM satellite. We find that the fraction of convective precipitation increases with SST at a rate of ...

Near-coastal satellite altimetry: Sea surface height variability in the North Sea – Baltic Sea area

The radiometer wet tropospheric correction is a limiting factor of the application of near-coastal altimetry observations in the North Sea – Baltic Sea area. Using an ECMWF model based correction instead, we increase the return rate from 70% to 95%, with observations as close as 10 km from the coast. The altimetry and 39 coastal tide gauges are referenced to the same state of the art regional g...
